What's Wrong With My MBAM? (Paid Version)

For the last three or four weeks this has been randomly happening.:

What's Wrong With My MBAM? (Paid Version)-capturex.png What's Wrong With My MBAM? (Paid Version)-capture.png

Almost daily, and sometimes not for three days. Sometimes multiple times a day. MBAM makes no notice of it and continues to function. I've tried everything I know. Today I've disabled Self Protection and so far no event. All I can think of left is an Uninstall and Re-Install.

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks ...

It is what they consider a cosmetic issue that does not affect MB or the computer itself and will be fixed on the next release.

I don't even know if it's a bug or a feature! Anyway I went through the exercise, with the clean and reinstall. We'll see … LOL, I even got some kind of Windows Update on the restart.

Thanks for y'alls time and advice. Much appreciated.

You may be right. But oddly enough I got an update package with the new install.

    Malwarebytes version: 3..6.1.2711
    Component package version: 1.0.463
    Update package version: 1.0.7430

I had been checking that in hopes an update would fix it. Like I said, "We'll see …"

I had the same issue. I finally opened a support ticket and after a few rounds of trying different things we finally solved it by turning off the self protection module. Support told me that they are aware of the issue and I may be fixed in the next update. You could also solve it by going back to the previous version. I believe that would be 3.5.1

As a FWIW update, no failures since my clean and reinstall. Working like a charm again. However G's Laptop (with MBAM Free) updated the Package Version this morning to:

    Malwarebytes Version: 3.6.1.2711
    Component Package Version: 1.0.463
    Update Package Version: 1.0.7167

is now doing this. I'm going to leave it alone and see what happens.
