WindowsDefender won't turn off even though a third party AV is install

    Hi,

I have F-secure installed on a Win 10 pro computer but even though F-secure is installed windows defender is still enabled.
somehow the computer won't recognize F-secure and disable Windows Defender.
I tried reinstalling F-secure same thing nothing changed and if I manually disable windows defender then when opening F-secure it says that "your computer is protected" but in Windows Security Center it says "Your virus & threat protection is managed by your organisation".

If anyone has a solution on how to resolve this problem that would be appreciated.

"Your virus & threat protection is managed by your organisation".
Hi, I believe that is simply MS-speak for 'You or someone has made a change in the registry which corresponds to one that can be made using the group policy editor'.

It's not an error or a problem. Merely indicative.

There were multiple posts on the Fsecure links regarding this problem and there was no posted solution.

These are some links on Windows defender settings.
One of the links has information on limited periodic scanning if windows defender is turned off
