Downloaded Bogus Chrome on New Install!

I see what VirusTotal says about it so will download MBAM and maybe ESET.

Honestly I blame this on Edge and the stupid Bing Search, there are horrible search options there. Is it Okay that I blame this on Edge and Bing LOL. Really it was my stupidity, but still, I have read things about "Bad Bing Searches" I think I will coin that BBS!

I Then looked in these places to try to find it:
Programs and Features
Add-ons in Edge and IE

Program Files
Program Files x86: These two I'm a little unsure of, I don't seem to see anything out of the norm, and most things are dated the same day as this happened because this is a new Install.
Running a Defender scan now.

If you have a backup prior to all this, restoring it is your best bet. When you say "on this new install", not clear if you mean you just clean installed Win 10 Home, Chrome, or both. Please explain. Thanks.

Looked again in Downloads and all other standard directories. Also Program Files + Program Files x86 but still don't see anything.

Sorry for delay. Been away most of the day. If the whole thing is a brand new install, and hasn't even gotten any MS updates yet, it sounds like you haven't really put too much on it yet. Why not just start over....clean install again. Use the official site for download of Chrome:

Google Chrome Web Browser

You could drive yourself nuts trying to find all the possible bits and pieces, and "stuff" that bogus installer did. Trash it, and start over.

Just my opinion and advice.

I would also do this, no sense on taking chances.
