    Still holding to my position.
If the problem weren’t significant it would not be reported in the Reliability Monitor which signals serious errors.
If you know about you ought to fix it.
Your excuse is just not acceptable.
    And it is unprofessional.
Probably this correspondence ought to be telegraphed throughout the web.

    Hello Richard,
    .
Because it does not affect the program or affect the computer it is not going to be a high priority fix - it would be better to be updated than using a version that has bigger bugs in it

I will continue with the older version until you have a fix.

Could please notify me when that happens.

    Hello Richard,

I would like to welcome you to Malwarebytes Technical Support, my name is William and I will be helping you out today.

You should go back and reinstall the newest version. - The error you see is a known issue and they are working on the fix for it.

The error does not stop Malwarebytes from working and it does not do anything - it is actually crashing on shutdown and starts up just fine onm next startup.

If it does bother you very much you can turn off self protection - that is what is causing it.

I have reinstalled a previous version from 3/2018. With this version Windows boots without an error in Computer Management/Event Log.

Can’t believe I am the only one. I remind you that your update arrived yesterday ust after the Windows 10 update, which you probably didn’t have when you tested and released your update.

I would go back to your labs and try to install the Malwarebytes update AFTER you’ve downloaded and installed the Windows 10 update.

This is the second time in six months that updates have generated errors: the last time my machine and others were toast. Thank god I had a back up.

    Do your due diligence please.
