Bitdefender Total Security 2019 Renewal Question

I have been pretty happy with Bitdefender Total Security 2018 and plan to renew when my subscription expires. Online chat support is excellent BTW. Right now I have "Total Security" but there is also "Internet Security" Everything in the latter is included in the former. Total Security offers Mac Os, Android and IOS protection NONE of which I need. Total Security also offers some utilities which I have never used. The difference in price for the year is only about 5 US dollars. Does anyone who now has Total Security have you ever used these utilities that come with the Total Security package and have an opinion on them? TIA.

    Hi phaedruspress,

As a current Bitdefender TS 2019 user I sometimes use some of the utilities that are suggested to me. I am also using the Android protection app.
IMO when I need some of them they are very useful, like the startup optimizer which delayed a few apps so I could open programs faster. I have fortunately never needed the anti-theft feature, but I have tested it and it worked excellent as far as I can recall.
Disk cleanup I use as a way of measuring what files are present, I do have other tools/programs for it but I like Bitdefender's overview of it.
Oneclick optimizer is something I don't want to use, because it goes a little too far. It's a little similar to all those programs that many users (myself included) actually warn for to NOT use.

Overall I like the options except for the Oneclick optimizer.
If you don't want to use all the extra utilities I would recommend you to go for the internet security subscription instead. Only downside, in my opinion, is that the internet security lacks anti-theft protection.

stick with total security. i've been running it for years and love it over the other offerings. not need for a lot of the crap that comes with internet security if your browser is set up right. i have everything except for antivirus and firewall turned off, and fire wall is set to ask me about items, and real time protection is off in antivirus cause i manually scan everything before it's installed. as for the utilities i don't bother with them.
