BitLocker for all versions of windows operating system

This is Richard , working as an IT Engr. I have some few questions regarding Bit locker that doesn't require password to all of our laptops in any version of Windows Operating System since our user are the associates within our company.

What I need is, the password should be prompted only when the hard drive was pulled out and installed to other machine.

Do you have any idea what's the best software application that could perfectly fit in this kind of instance.

That would be your recovery key which you would store in Active Directory or somewhere in a secure location.

If your using TPM and a PIN for BitLocker authentication, the PIN is only good on the computer in which BitLocker was setup on.

However, when you pull out the HDD, and mount it to another computer, you will not get the BitLocker PIN prompt. Instead, it will ask for the Recovery Key.

Thanks for that information, however is the process of inputting the recovery key is just for once? or after the reboot it will ask again for its recovery key?

Since all of our laptops are in random OS (some of it has no Encryption feature) that's why I'm planning to slave all HDD with an OS of win7 to a laptop with an OS of Win 10 Pro just to encrypt it all.
