Weird save as (snipping tool) network activity

Using the win 10 snipping tool, after selecting the screen area, when I click "save" I have network activity as per below image.
What is odd is that this only happens in one win 10 system, in another it does'nt happen at all (absolutely no network activity whan using the same tool).
The question is, could this be "legit" telemetry or is it totally abnormal so that the system could be infected?

    Thanks!

It's very hard to say from a short spike in network activity exactly what is responsible, or why it is occurring. If you're concerned about malware, the best thing you can do is to run a malware scanner of some kind to see what's going on. If your resident antimalware package finds nothing (first thing to check) download and run a third-party one-time scanner such as malwarebytes (MBAM) or Trend Micro Housecall. If that shows nothing, you can probably relax -- or you can turn to anti-rootkit checks if you're convinced something unwanted is at work.

In addition to what Ed already told you, one thing to check in case you are using OneDrive is if you have enabled saving screenshots to OneDrive

If yes, then it is only natural that screenshots will be uploaded as soon as you take them. Image files like screen snippets are usually quite small files therefore network activity is shown like short spikes shown in your screenshot.

Thank you Ed and Kari for your help,

I ran malwarebyte, no issue found.

    After some more tests:
The network spike is absolutely systematic and triggered when creating new files i.e. with save as, it does not happen when i save an already existing file and is not snipping tool specific, happens also when saving new files with libreoffice (image below) but NOT using notepad++ nor when creating new files using file explorer.
This make me think of some kind of file system monitoring which, again, could be totally normal; what i find weird is that this not happens with a brand new win 10 install but on more use system.
The onedrive idea would be a good catch but not using it it's uninstalled so should not be onedrive.Weird snipping tool network activity-immagine.png

I finally solved the "mistery" LOL, file explorer has the network list that can be opened or collapsed, if it is opened it, obviously, scan for devices in the network so it is absolutely normal, and anyway it does have nothing to do with telemetry; that laptop I use it to connect to different network (not my own) so I keep it quite checked, maybe a bit too much.

    Again thanks for the help.
