    friendlyduck and traktrafficflow

    Hi,

Today I wanted to watch a documentary movie about chess (Closing Gambit), I wanted to go honest route and rent it, but it is impossible to rent in The Netherlands. But I really wanted to see it, so only way was to go the unhonest route, and find some shady site to watch movies for free, because it seemed the only way.

At a shady site there was a video player with a button 'create account' and I pressed it (I normally dont do such stupid things but I really wanted to watch it, and it was the only way). Immediatly I got notifications from Malwarebytes that it blocked hijack threats from friednlyduck and traktrafficflow.

Does this mean Malwarebytes blocked everything, or can something have slipped through.
I am kinda scared now. Can my stuff be hacked now, credit cards, also accounts of online poker sites that I I have money on (more than on my bank account right now as I won some tourneys lately).

Mostly scared if my online poker account is safe.

    Yours,
    7ender

You are obviously new to "the dark side". There are many sites offering streaming services, but 99% are fake.
If you did not create an account or enter your credit card, there is nothing to worry about, you stopped in time.
