    I am thinking about the possibility of creating a rule that automatically excludes script files created by an administrator on Windows. Such files should not be counted as unknown files.
    By the way, if you have spare time, take a look at the "Reputation and Badges" thread.
    Thanks. You can always disable HIPS which is what most users do if they can't easily configure exclusions.

    There is no option to disable HIPS. I can only set it to "Rule-based Mode", which will actually disable all advanced protection, including anti-ransomware.

    So I should have checked. The only way is to use V273

    Code:
    https://www.wisevector.com/WiseVector_StopX_V27.exe
    Anyway for current version setting HIPS to "Auto" with "Notify" as default action works fine for me.

    @Matthew Wai

    Other option. Exit the program when running scripts.

    So I did a test. With HIPS set to either rule based or automatic (I tested both) - with protections all disabled via the system try icon right click menu the script that you provided previously didn't trigger an alert and it was removed from exclusions list before running the tests.

    Running the command from Command Prompt will not trigger an alert whether the protections have been enabled or disabled. Running the command from a script will do so with the protections enabled. I have not been notified of your mention because you did not paste my name as plain text, which will trigger a notification.

    I guess that using Command Prompt counts as a user initiated action so is deemed safe. As for getting an alert with protections enabled I'm sure that is exactly how it is supposed to work. As for creating rules I hope that you get an answer because it's beyond my ability.
