    downspeedtest toolbar


    downspeedtest is taking over my computer. how can i remove it permanantly? thank you pothound

    Hi potpound. If this is an app remove through Start > Settings > Apps

    If it is browser tool bar, which it sounds like, remove the extension / addin

    In Firefox click three bars upper right, then click addins

    In Google click three dots upper right, hover over "more tools", click extensions

    In Edge click three dots upper right, click extensions, find extension and hover over it and click settings icon that appears

    If this is malware use a tool like malwarebytes obtained at malwarebytes.com

In W7 the upper toolbar's 'Open' had a pulldown with relative apps that one could pick to open a file with. In my case, a folder containing music files, the Open pulldown would list all my apps that would play a 'folder' if the app had a play folder...

When I open up some programs like games will close the program without actually closing the program and will then re-open the program while its doing this I catch a glimpse of the desktop. could i please get some help getting rid of this problem.
