    Zone Alarm firewall has failed GRC Leak Test - How can I fix this?

    I downloaded and installed Zone Alarm because Windows own firewall failed GRC Leak Test and I was under the impression Zone Alarm was the safest out there. It also failed. Is there a way of fixing this?

    Hello Interista

    It would be worth reading this thread: GRC leak test

    Not a big issue as far as I am concerned.

    My Windows Firewall has passed the test. Do you have outbound blocking enabled?

    Most likely allowed by some automatically created rules.

    I stopped using ZoneAlarm as it was too much hassle.

    Anyway here's what I get when running the test;

    Last time I gave ZoneAlarm firewall a test run, it really failed my test in a bad bad way. When watching a video stream and having a bunch of tabs open it would slow down loading of all pages. I tested it different ways and each time I had a bunch of stuff open it would slow browsing.

    Your router should be blocking it before it ever gets near your windows firewall, Unless your computer is using a public IP which is not the best idea in the world.
