Windows 10: how to access encrypted memory stick

    how to access encrypted memory stick


    so at my school when i plugged in my memory stick, it automatically started encrypting, there was no option. now at home when I try to access it I am asked for a password. but that is saved on my account at school. what can I do? it has all my important stuff on it!

    Please contact your school for assistance, forum rules prohibit us from assisting in the beaking of passwords, only other alternative is to contact a local technician who may be able to do this for a fee

    Thanks. If I get the password can I like get rid of the encryption entirely?

    The terms of "bring your own hardware to Work/School" agreements are still in their infancy, some systems will allow you to simply wipe an encrypted pen drive when you have decrypted it ,some will only allow the system staff to perform this act, (so they can confirm that their private information is removed). I would ask the administrator for the rules they work to
