    Bitlocker

Is it possible to use Bitlocker on a single folder? The only option I can see it to lock the entire drive.

    Hello Tigeromega,

I'm afraid that Bitlocker can't be used to only encrypt a folder.

However, you can use EFS in the tutorial below to encrypt a folder.

Yes, but you have to create an encrypted .vhd or .vhdx and put the folder into that. You can't just encrypt an existing folder.

I used EFS but it never asked to create a password. The files have a little padlock but the folder and files open without asking for a password. I am lost at this stage.

EFS will automatically let your account access the encrypted folder since the folder was encrypted in your account.

Any other account on the PC will be denied access though.

    You're most welcome.

I hope EFS will meet your needs.
