    Malwarebytes keeps saying blocked sharing-is-caring.info

    Hello,

Over the past few days Malwarebytes kept telling me that it keeps blocking a website called sharing-is-caring.info

I searched it up and they have instructions for programs like UnHackMe and SpyHunter and then I looked for the manual method. I looked at my apps and I didn't see anything about sharing-is-caring and same for Chrome Extensions. I don't know what to do and can someone please tell me how to get rid of this virus?

    Thanks,

    Hi,

I have tried to do the manual steps on the websites and when I check my services, apps, tasks, etc. I do not see anything related to the virus. Do you think UnHackMe or something like that is good and will work?

Not familiar with UnHackMe so I’m heaitant to recommend it. Another member like who is more familiar with this issue will hopefully jump in to this thread to help.

Clicking on SoFine409's link....I see that the link is referring to a coin miner type bug or virus. This suggests to me that it may be embedded into one or all your browsers. I'd start with Ccleaner and see what you get. Then check for any plugin's or extensions that may have been installed with or without your consent.

Also....I like to use Norton power eraser for the deeply embedded stuff.
