How do I remove quarantined threats

    Unfortunately conflicting information seems to apply many times in the computer world. As you & Bree have noticed there is a specific statement "They will be removed periodically" and I believe that to be true.
    On the How to configure quarantine files removal on Windows Defender Antivirus article, I do not know how they could have stated "if not configured, the quarantined items will stay in the quarantined folder forever" but my intent was how to determine the configuration on my computer and I found the same thing as you mentioned.
