Add Program Exclusions To Windows Defender

I make programs to solve needs I have.

Many of these programs are TINY as in 50kb or so.

On every other machine, double clicking one of these programs spawns a window within a second or less.

But I got one machine that has Windows Defender running, and it takes up to a MINUTE to launch one of my toys.

So, even though I might have to do it dozens of times, how do I add an exclusion to defender to NEVER scan this file when opening.

P.S. I verified that it is a defender issue by disabling it for a quick test, programs open instantly.

    See this tutorial.

...so even though I might have to do it dozens of times...
If you keep 'all your toys' in a single folder, then you'd just have to do it the once by excluding that folder.

    That's the ticket.

And nope, toys are generally in the working folder where they're being used, and I don't want to exclude such a large number of branches just for the sake of a few toys. (They do tend to be scattered throughout my drives.)
