    It does not show until a certain number of posts by a new member...I think its 15, so it should show in your next post at the bottom right of the window...

    The ability to edit a post is only available to members who have met certain criteria based, (Eg post count, time a member, and others )

    There is also a timer on posts so that they can only be edited for a short time after posting

    these limits are there to prevent spammers posting and returning later to edit a thread, it's unfortunate for genuine users but is part of the times we live in

    @Stecyk

    The best way to contact one of the staff (Moderator) is to report the post by clicking the small triangle with a ! in the bottom left of every post. this will be seen by all staff and actioned quicker :)

    Thank you.

    Yes, I noticed that Reimage was aggressively marketed on the page. It was the one solution that they kept harping on that would solve the problem. If ADWCleaner's solution of cleaning out those nine registry entries is key to solving my issue, then I am not sure that the solution listed on that page would help because, as I recall, they don't address registry entries. Instead, users delete any suspicious recent programs and, in the worst case scenario, delete Edge from the hard drive and reinstall it. If my recollection is correct, then the registry entries would still be present.

    Thank you for your comment.

    Thank you, everyone, for mentioning that I needed a certain number of posts before having the privilege of editing my comments. I understand the reasons. I had hunted for the ability to edit before posting my request to the moderator. At least I now know the rules of the road.

    Bottom right of your own posts there's an 'Edit post' just to the left of the Quote/muti-quote links.

    Edit: ah, I forgot there was a 'qualifying' requirement.

    There seems to be a longer period after that when you can still edit your post, but a 'lasted edited by ... at ...' line is automatically added at the bottom (never have worked out when that kicks in ) It looks like this one I've deliberately chosen to add...

    @Bree There is also a Badge factor in your case, A guru is more likely to go back and add useful information to their posts, so I think you get some extra superpowers Not sure exactly how it works as to what each badge gains but they are not just for show

    By the way, do you consider Reimage being PUP/Adware/Scareware/malware as I do?

    Thank you for asking that question because I was wondering the same thing. Prior to visiting this site, I had never heard of Reimage. Yet the software seems too good to be true. That alone made me suspicious.

    I looking forward to reading others' opinions of Reimage.
