Something weird is going on with Windows Security...

When I just boot up my PC everything goes normally but when I reboot my PC after being on Windows Security has a spot of trouble getting security information with the parts of Virus- and threatsecurity and Firewall and networksecurity. (I see a little line of walking dots and 'Getting security information...' underneath it (but then in Dutch!)) After a minute or so it goes away and the green checkmarks appear. The shieldicon says all clear...

Earlier today I had a Trojan on my PC but that one has been removed thankfully.

    Is my Windows Security damaged?

No, from what you are seeing, I can tell you have a 3rd party antivirus installed. I get the same on here if I use another AV besides Windows Defender.

On the note of the infection, I would run the free version of Malwarebytes to be sure you are clean. Possibly even download their Adwcleaner 7.1.1 and scan with that as well. :)

I have only Windows Sec Center installed what you get with Windows 10 :)

I'm clean, still I'm puzzled about that thing described in the OT

Any way I can reinstall WSC?

Weird. I had that issue with the Insider version of 1803 when it was pre release. I do not have it in my current 1803 which I clean installed on April 30th.

The only way I could fix that issue and my mic not working was to clean install. You could try running SFC or DISM commands to check/restore the system health I guess. I am not sure it will fix it. I can install my AV of choice on here (Bitdefender) and every reboot I get the same issue with it working for 1-2 minutes then says OK.

Same issue on Windows Defender getting security info after clean installed of Windows 10 Pro x64 1803 17134.48, my 3rd party program doesn't work right now that well, so waiting til they fix it, before I decide if gonna resume using it or not

Avast UI Fails after second reboot, sometimes takes 2-3 reboots to get working and iffy if it will even then. I wonder how fast there gonna fix that, or if I should configure Defender for advanced protection now, like PUA protection and such
