Windows Defender PUA/PUP protection is too picky

Today WD deleted Wagnard's DDU saying it was a non safe application. I had to run the GUI interface to be able to recover it from quarantine.

How could inform MS that this is a false positive?

Thanks. I would not be surprised if WD was not doing this after an update.

BitTorrent is also safe, right? I had to add an exclusion to Windows Defender for it after editing the Windows Registry to add PUP protection to Defender. But that being said, I do want to ask: has the PUP/PUA setting been added to Defender for Home or Pro edition users yet, or is it still only for Enterprise users? If it's not already there, I'd like it if it were added soon. Also, if I already have an "MpEngine" key with DWORD "MpEnablePus" under "Windows Defender" in the Registry Editor, is that already enough to have it protect against both PUPs and PUAs?

PUA protection can be enabled in any edition from Home upwards, though for Home and Pro you have to do it in the registry or via poweshell. It's not in Settings, but it is in Group Policy for Pro.

Enable or Disable Windows Defender PUA Protection in Windows 10

There is a link to safe test PUA in the tutorial, just below 'Contents'. Here is PUA protection working in Pro.

Well, I have the Home edition and I enabled PUP protection via the registry. And yes, the test passed (and thankfully so--don't know what I would've done if the PUP/PUA had gotten on my computer).
