Read the thread from the beginning, and download the shortcut I made(it makes opening hosts correctly much easier).
If you use the host file, for each update you will need to delete the old, then paste the new in, so it is recommended, that you always keep it as the last section, to make it easier when making changes, as it is updated every couple of day's(or when ever you get around to looking).
When I update I prefer using Edge over Chrome, as Edge has a "select all" right click option that Chrome doesn't.

Update 12 April 2018: https://zerodot1.github.io/CoinBlock.../hosts_browser
Today's update is up to 1561 addresses.
This list (think it's the same one) opens fine in browser...

I copy it from Edge, and then paste it in notepad using my shortcut(download in first post), and have no problems.
I got a warning today that they posted using ANSI instead of Unicode for the encoding. when I wanted to save, but clocked ok and it save correctly though.
You can also use Internet Explore and manually change the encoding, and that will solve the problem:
The link is now opening in both Edge and Chrome. Last night in Chrome it automatically downloaded as a hosts_browser file rather than opening the link.
