    KIS

I use Kaspersky Total Internet Security. It provides much more than just AV protection. I also have Kaspersky Secure Connection, which is their VPN. So far I am happy with what they provide.

I have been using superantispyware and windows defender for some time, and im really satisfied with this solution. With windows defender you got antivirus, and with superantispyware you got antispyware, and none of them is causing problems for my games or slowing my computer.

Now that I have a fresh install of 1803 I am wondering which security configuration to use.

Previously I used Defender and Malwarebytes which seems fine.
I have access to Bitdefender which Mum bought so maybe BD and MBM or is that too much.

I currently using Avast Free on the systems here, tried Defender for a while with Malwarebytes free, but felt like maybe needed more, but if any issues develop out it comes lol, so far so good though

I might have to switch to Defender if I wanna use the Office 365 Home Protection features, and Files Restore, seems like at this point only will work with Defender if I read the articles right both here and on another site

I would suggest choosing windows defender for starters, and then you can pick a spyware program of your liking as a multilayer solution, as previously suggested.

After doing a fresh install of Windows 10 Home and installing MS Windows Version 1803 (OS Build 17134.1), I've decided to use Bitdefender free version for the first time and Malwarebytes (Premium) as I had issues with Avast Premier opening after the first time I installed the abovementioned update.

I tried Bitdefender Free a couple of years ago -- worked great for 3 days and then stopped updating definitions and no longer scanned. Doesn't appear to have any official support (free version) so I uninstalled and activated Defender.
Been hearing from some friends who use it that BD Free started blocking legitimate websites late last year and is still doing so. Apparently, something with a BD certificate and the workaround is either add websites to an exclusion list or turn off one of the protection settings.

Just wondering if it's working for you or if you've run into any issues. I might be tempted to try it again in the future as I did like it.

    Hi Crizal

I haven't experienced any negative issues with Bitdefender Free at this stage. It is updating fine and is working well alongside Malwarebytes (Premium) and Windows Defender Security Centre.
