Disable/remove Smartscreen

No, i just disabled the service. Thanks for the suggestion ,i will check if the compattelrunner runs again and inform you.

No need to delete smartscreen.exe!!!

Simply disable Windows Security Service

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\SecurityHealthService

Set Start to 4 to disable this. Smartscreen.exe will no longer run randomly in the background.

This way you won't have integrity violations when you do an SFC /Scannow

This doesn't work on the later releases, smartscreen still runs.
