hey guys i got hit with a drive by download norton says it blocked it?

    cool thanks much think i will just use that program it says it auto updates so nice .

    :) yes that little program is nice i went back to the web forum i was on and i did not get it this time :) so happy now thanks so much, looks like the list is slightly bigger then the one you listed so might want to check out the homepage for the program at the hub place and get the current list.

    I don't, I just use Notepad as normal...

    Then remember to Save, then close it....
    This is the step that needs Notepad as Admin, instead I save it elsewhere first. Then I rename HOSTS (so I've got it as a backup) then move my edited one into C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc

    You get asked to confirm admin permissions a few times, but the end result is the same.
