I can't activate a laptop and desktop the error coming up is the software licencing service reported that the licence could not be found or is invalid.

That's the same error I get. As mentioned before, I believe it's a server-related problem.

I'm glad i'm not the only one. Tried another method, using over the phone activation that failed too. Guessing too many people are activating today and broke servers on Microsoft's end.

same thing here, upgraded from w 8.1 pro and got w10 pro, now it wont activate getting 0xC004F034.
same pic as u posted mine is.
I called Microsoft and after about 1 hr wait I got to speak with this Indian who put me trough to tech after some information. There I installed a program so Tech could control my PC, he did all the things i did +. Phone activation no luck, script that script this, slui 1 trough 4, checked my W8 key and there is still 2 more registrations for other PC so he typed in that key, still no luck. We talked some more Tech name was Red.
So he was controlling my PC doing hes things when all of a sudden he told me we do a restart, and before I got to tell him I was talking with him trough Skype the mouse went down left in light speed and he Restarted, Red was gone.
Turned on computer and the window where Red was connected had dc and he had leftsession.

Not calling again as i just did and the wait is tremendous long.. If this is a Ms server issue would not Tech know about it? I think massive overload due to people activating today?
or not.. l keep bashing the Activation button and let u know if it gets activated..

    SOLUTION

not even joking guys its a stupid one, after scouring the net till i went gray i discovered a thread on another site which suggested the following:

mash the activate button like crazy!!

out of options i clicked the activate button about 30 or so times in rapid succession and bingo it worked on first attempt!!!
i have no idea why and it doesn't make sense but it works.

    Hope i helped :)

Hey guys, just dropping in to tell you that servers are indeed under heavy load. If you have "connect to internet" status and getting 0xC004F034 error it means your request didn't get through. Either wait or hammer the activation button, 50th time did the trick for me. It doesn't matter how you upgraded and from what as long as you upgraded genuine 7/8/8.1 to 10. No updates necessary vanilla 8 without updates worked for me. Cheers.

I have been clicking for over an hour! No error code just: Windows can't activate. Try again later.

Sometimes it takes 45 seconds or so to tell me this, other times it's about 2 seconds...starting to panic a bit!!!

You're right, I have the "connect to internet" status and even though the error code means that the licence is invalid.
I tried almost 40 times and it's not letting me anymore. At the top, it says "connect to Internet" but below that, (at the place where the activate button should be) it says that in order to activate I should either change the licence key or go to Store (which doesn't work)

    Anyways, I strongly believe that it's a server-related problem.

If I just leave it will it eventually activate itself?
