Where do you download Don't Sleep? Does it have an official site?

I saw it in Dont Sleep - Free download and software reviews - CNET Download.com but there is a review that says it has a virus.

You use a search engine. Better not to use CNET sometimes as they package things in their own installer with 'extras'.

    MajorGeeks is reputable.

When I was not at the PC (PC was turned on, nobody is using it) yesterday after 8PM, the PC restarted by itself and I lost some unsaved data. Very sad.
    Agreed it is very sad.

It is very sad that you have not learnt the two golden rules of computing.

Golden Rule 1) Always save data frequently and especially if leaving pc unattended.

Golden Rule 2) If there is any doubt about saving, refer back to Golden Rule 1).

Blaming the OS for bad practice is silly. You can get a power cut at any time for example.

Cute, but nonsense. The idea is that in the middle of everything you could possible do, you save every few seconds; or that S happens, so the operating system taking you out doesn't count.
As many have pointed out, here and elsewhere, people have lost real money and data, NOT caused by power or equipment failure. Including myself. Even running a Raid array and a UPS doesn't help.
So, the real question becomes more along the lines of, "while landing the airplane, all guidance might be lost due to automatic update" or rather, "after arriving at the terminal, please schedule an update"...

Update info. Don't sleep does not prevent my Windows 10 Home 64 bit x64 from the auto update and restart. My PC restarted by itself when I have many programs opened and don't sleep opened, it auto restarted during the period that I lock screen and not touching my PC.

A forced restart can override programs such as Don't sleep, if that's what MS is using.

Try this (full explanation if you click on the link).
