How to delete udpate in Windows 10?

i installed a new ssd on my machine. Cloned my Windows 10 Home install from the previous hard drive to it using Samsung Data Migration Tool.

Everything works fine post-migration. However the following update won't finish. I'm wondering if the reason is because an update was in progress while it was getting cloned. (I know for a fact that no warning regarding an "update in progress" was displayed during the cloning.)

    • Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64-based Systems (KB3189866).

It's stuck at 45%. (was stuck at 48% yesterday before running Start>Troubleshooting>Fix problems with Windows Update).

Here's a screenshot of the report displayed after running that "Fix problems..." link cited above.

Infers I should delete it to fix the problem, so clicking on update history I see this:

Clicking on Uninstall updates I see this:

I don't know what I should uninstall. Might anyone know?
I hope I don't have to clean install windows 10....

Any help would be extremely appreciated!

This particular update has stuck at various percentages (95% for me) for many users. There are (many) threads on this. The main one is:
    Cumulative Update KB3189866 Windows 10 build 14393.187

As you will see, most of us have had to manually install this one (there's no need to uninstall any other updates to do this). How to do that is in many of the replies on that thread.

Bree, thank you very much for the response.

I'm terrible at googling. Nevertheless, I apologize for failing to find it.

Strange. I read all the posts on that page linked. Tried the most appropriate link to the manual download. It, and the other, didn't take me straight to the download without jumping through some hoops.

I tried to update it again and it went through without a hitch.

Unlike last time, it also updated this.

Security Update for Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package (KB2565063).

Apologies for opening a new thread without searching for the problem proper prior.
(I searched for the solution Windows update fail suggested, "Uninstall the update" )

My Surface Book was stuck at 45% (download not Install )for 2 days so I rebooted and it showed an error with the update. I downloaded the 64 bit update file from MS and clicked on the file and the update installed successfully. The errors show in the history and the successful install also shows.
