Why I receive non-have office updates?

    Hello
I had this issue since windows 7 too, that windows update list a lots of updates for Microsoft office products that I had no installed, for example I just installed MSO word, PowerPoint and excel, but I also receive updates about other products such outlook, visio, skype for business and etc.
In windows 10 I still have this issue plus inability to uninstall them, mean that when I try to uninstall them in "programs and features/installed updates" they won't install and still remain there.
Any help would be appreciated. Thx

Same here, Office 2013. Not all the updates are included every time. In W7 I could control which ones are installed but now I just ignore them. Seems that MS detects Office package only without going into details.
You can only turn off updates "for other MS products" but not by product itself.

Thanks fro reply, but What about windows 10? I can't choose what updates to install, also I can't even uninstall previous unwanted office updates, as when I uninstall them and even receive "successfully uninstalled" message, but the "uninstalled update" is still there.

They switched to mandatory updating so no much choosing there any more. You could kill all updates or none, in Home version is most acute.
