Upgrade to Windows 10 Home, version 1511, 10586

Upgrade to Windows 10 Home, version 1511, 10586 will not download and install. However the updater keeps telling me it is ready for installation, then is decides on it's own to restart any damn time it wants to. For a while, I had control over this. Then, like a dummy, I decided to see if there were any updates. MS snuck a piece of software in during the look see, and now it's back to doing what it wants. I'm developing an irrational hatred for Windows 10

I would like to know how I can take absolute control of my Windows Updater. Furthermore, I'd like to force this update to download and control whether it is installed or not. I don't seem to be able to get any information on it. Is it even necessary?

If someone can help I would really appreciate it. TIA andythebeagleUpgrade to Windows 10 Home, version 1511, 10586-sad-little-beagle.jpg

Download iso, double click on it and run setup.exe.

OK Thanx. That fixed every problem I had, and all my drivers didn't want to work after. Ran a driver updater I got from sourceforge SDI_x64_R439 It found and updated everything. I'm having another issue now, with Win 10 and it's mommy, mother MicroSoft.. MS is like a VD you can't cure. More when I get it all together.
