.Net Native Framework Package 1.2.23205.0 keeps updating

.Net Native Framework Package 1.2.23205.0 keeps successfully updating nearly every day since 5/8 with the exception of 5/11, 5/18 and 5/19 . One day it updated twice! I ran the MS FixDoNet Repair Tool but the update installed today. There was a thread about this sometime ago but apparently there was no resolution.
    Anyone have an suggestion?

    Nice looking cat!
Suggestion: You can always turn OFF Auto Updates!
    Works for me!

He was a great kitty, thanks. Gone nearly 2 years now <sigh>.
I could turn off auto updates but I'd like to find out what's going on with this. It might be something more serious since I've had a few IE and Outlook unexplained shutdowns lately as well. Maybe time for an install in place. Sure hate to go thru all that but it's better than repeat updates and unexplained program shutdowns.

    HI SoFine

It seems to be MSFT store related. Signed in as a local account I keep getting the update, when I sign in with my msft acct it seems to not update everyday. Try signing into the store and in the dropdown menu, check for updates. Also I turned off update apps automatically in settings. Was very frustrating, but it has stopped for the time being. Let me know how it goes. JD

MS suggests cleaning "SoftwareDistribution\Download" folder, among other things.
You can try my bat file, it does that, plus some cleaning. Download it and run as admin.

Thanks JD and TairikuOkami for the responses. I ran a fresh full backup tonight and tomorrow morning I'll try the WUFix.bat. From some additional research I've done I think it's likely that it should fix things. I'll let things run for a couple of days and then report back.

UPDATE: Hi TairikuOkami. I ran your bat a few minutes ago. It appeared to run successfully but while it was running Net Native Framework Package 1.2.23205.0 updated again. I also noticed that recently MS Advertising SDK for XMAL updates also. Maybe there is a connection between the two. I'm wondering if this is connected to the Windows Software Development Kit that I installed in January?
I'll keep watching for another update of Net Native Framework Package 1.2.23205.0 and get back to you in the meantime if you have any thoughts about this please let me know.

I am having the same issue. It was first installed on May 1st. When I check the "WindowsApps" folder in "Program Files", it shows the following version as updated on that date: "1.2_1.2.23231.0". This seems to be a newer version. The 1.2.23205.0 is not showing up at all.

Interesting. It started update on mine on May 8th and many times MS Advertising SDK for XAML installs as well (but not every time). I don't have permissions to look into the into the WindowsApps folder. A few minutes I ran a WUFix.bat that one of our members wrote. I hope this fixes the problem. Have you installed The Windows Software Development Kit? I'm thinking that this may have something to do with this issue as well.
