    Windows Update 0x800f020b Error


    When I run Windows Update on Windows 10 (ver 1511), I get the following error:

    Hewlett-Packard - Imaging - Null Print - HP Deskjet 3520 series - Error 0x800f020b

    I looked up the 0x800f020b error code and it says this occurs when an attempt is made to update drivers for a device that isn't connected. In my particular case, this device is connected via the wireless network and appears in my list of available Printers.

    How do I get rid of this error?

    I solved this problem by uninstalling the (working) printer driver and reinstalling it.

    My apologies for reviving an old thread, but this is the page that seemed the most relevant when I Googled the problem I was having. I am getting the same driver update option on my end too. I have uninstalled every instance possible of the HP printer driver and restarted my laptop. Any suggestions?
