    I have it back though
    If you have build 10041 installed, it will still add Windows Update to the Control Panel, but it will also break Windows Update in both the Settings and Control Panel locations. It will just give you an error when trying to use Windows Update.

    driver for nvidia gts450

    This driver fails every time and I am trying to remove it.
    I am trying to access the tutorial to add windows update to the control panel
    If you like, you could use the tutorial below to add Windows Update back to the Control Panel.

    Windows Update - Add or Remove from Control Panel in Windows 10 - Windows 10 Forums
    I then get
    besb, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

    1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
    2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

    Win10 Build 10130 locks the registry keys for changing it so you have to find a way to unlock it cause I haven't.

    Code:
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    ;show Windows Update in Control Panel
    ;Key locked in Windows 10 Build 10130
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsUpdate\UX]
    "IsConvergedUpdateStackEnabled"=dword:00000000
    ;1=default

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsUpdate\UX\Settings]
    "UxOption"=dword:00000000
    ;1=default
    ;END

    The following key enables the dropdown with a catch(you have to update!).
    Code:
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate\AU]
    "AUOptions"=dword:00000005

    If you don't want automatic updates try this key if you can't figure out a workaround:
    Code:
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\Auto Update]
    "AUOptions"=dword:00000004
    ;1=never check for updates
    ;4=default
    You can add them manually or put them in a *.reg file together.
    To manually add them use win+r and type regedit and navigate
    to the places and make the keys and values.
    Remember Keys are like Folders and the rest is like files.
