Can I still get the ISO file and using something like ImgBurn, burn it to a disk so that I have an installation media for Windows 10?
Now another problem:
This concerns this old desktop on which I just finished a clean install of Windows 7 (it was a Vista machine). I think I mentioned that I got an invite for Windows 10 upgrade a couple days ago. I just left the little white box on the taskbar. Tonight it opened and wanted me to select Upgrade now or Start download, upgrade later.
I chose the latter and it started to download. I don't even know if I want to upgrade this computer to 10, but decided I would go ahead and get the download just in case. Good thing I kept a close watch on this.
After download was finished it started running again Preparing for installation. The short of it is that it wanted to start upgrading and I had selected the option to upgrade later. I stopped it and on the box where I was supposed to accept or decline, I didn't know what to do so I just clicked the X in the top right corner and closed it out.
I'd appreciate some advice on what went on here, and I'm wondering if now, by stopping everything and not selecting Accept, have I messed up the possibility of installing 10 on this machine
