I NEVER install a Beta ver. of any OS on anything but a Clean Hard Drive.....NEVER on a drive with another OS.

But I'm confused by the premise of this thread, that someone loaded a Beta Test version of Windows 10 and it apparently did not come up "Activated".

I downloaded the Windows 10, Pro, Technical Preview 32 bit and after the install it came up "Activated".
So what's with this "I can't get it activated" business? I don't get it !!!
Both my clean ISO installation to 9879 & subsequent upgrade to 9926 required activation - it's just the way it is!

I have never had to activate a preview, not Vista not 7 not 8 and not 10, don`t know why you would have to activate a preview.

I didn't do it for the fun of it, it was what was required in the builds that I downloaded.
