Doug is right, you just use the iso file to install in a VM, you don`t need a disc.
Jesse I thought you were going to wait on 10, you`ll see it`s no big deal.

It might take a while to download, as my internet is slow at downloading things. But, it's downloading right now.
you will see when it asks you what you want to use to install W10, it will give you 2 options, use a dvd or the iso file, just change it to the iso file then you browse to the folder where you have it. (click on the small folder icon to browse to the iso file)
Don`t forget to customize the VM hardware ( you will see a customize button at the bottom of one of the windows when you create it) change the cpu to 2 cores, and raise the memory to at least 2688 MB.
Jesse, whenever you burn an OS to a dvd or cd the burning software gives you a speed option, always choose x4 speed.
It's done. I made a new thread.
That's what its saying. \Downloads\Windows10_TechnicalPreview_x64_EN-US_9926 (1).iso might be incomplete or corrupt.
Its saying I need drivers still.
It didn't ask for the product key.
I checked and it's Activatied.
I NEVER install a Beta ver. of any OS on anything but a Clean Hard Drive.....NEVER on a drive with another OS.
But I'm confused by the premise of this thread, that someone loaded a Beta Test version of Windows 10 and it apparently did not come up "Activated".
I downloaded the Windows 10, Pro, Technical Preview 32 bit and after the install it came up "Activated".
So what's with this "I can't get it activated" business? I don't get it !!!
