Clarification...do the cumulative builds contain security updates?

I'm still not certain if the new builds that come out,( eg 10586.36, and now 10586.63) also contain
all the latest Windows security updates as well? (not referring to defender updates I know they are distinct)
I've noticed that my Windows 10 PC (which had 10 installed from new, it is NOT an upgrade) has the latest build
10586.63 but I don't see any separate windows security updates coming along with them. Is having the latest build number 10586.63 mean that the OS has all the up to date security updates as well, including the .net security updates....

    Thanks for explaining.

I am not good in explaining this.
The answer, however, is .............................."yes" to cumulative updates.

    Thanks davidhk!

I was getting worried, because I haven't seen the traditional presentation of what you used to find in Win 7, and 8 where you saw
distinct windows security updates since early november and at that time for some weird reason (only MS knows why) I didn't get the
november build to actually successfully install until early Jan and before that time some of the old style distinct windows security updates also showed and failed to install so I was a bit concerned about this. Now that the build is the latest stable version
10586.63 I feel confident that the OS is secure as possible.

Yes. You won't get 10586.63 unless you have the most current cumulative update installed.
