    What a Goose


    I was reading on another forum to delete all the files in the Windows/softwaredistribution\Download

    I did this now windows keeps telling me it needs to restart to install updates, but there are no updates for it to install.

    Everytime I restart I get the same message, can anyone help, thanks.

    Sounds like the method you used did half a job.

    Try reading the tutorial here instead, and follow the instructions given to the letter.
