    Adobe flash update 5/1/16


    MS pushed a flash update to edge and IE11 today. All seems fine on my system so a safe update

    It disables my emails.

    Jeezuz, do MS not test anything these days. It seems they throw updates out the door and hope for the best. My emails are unaffected, I use Outlook 365 but can only sympathise. Did you try uninstalling the update to see if that fixes it. If it does fix then hide the update as it will try and reinstall itself at a later point

    Guess there must be a difference between Flash Update for IE and Edge compared to other browsers. Since Mozilla Firefox requires no update today and Firefox is using Flash Update 20.0.0.267 and the one that Windows updated today and came out on 1/2/2016 update number was different 20.0.0.272. No issues for me, sometimes it's a user issue.

    1/5/16 Haven't seen any issue yet on 2 computers but I mostly use Firefox.

    272 is only for IE/Edge while 267 is for all the other browsers via the PPAPI and NPAPI plug-in's. IE/Edge's 267 had problems so 272 was announced.

    Thanks Almighty that explains it, did try to update it in Firefox it said was up to date and only gave me option to download same version.
