    Windows 10 can't download and install upgrades


    Hi, I recently bought a HP Envy 17t with Windows 10 64 Bit on it. The first thing I did was to check if any updates were available, there were, and I downloaded and installed them. I checked again about 10 after that (about 2 weeks after getting the laptop). Since then however I can't install any upgrades. I start the download/install process, then leave. When I get back a couple of hours later, I see an error message saying that the MS servers could not be reached.

    I don't know what's going on here. I haven't been able to download and install any Windows or MS Office upgrades in over 4 weeks.

    Can anyone help me please.

    Win 10 Home or Pro ?
    If it is Pro, find out if you have accidentally enabled the Defer upgrades option.

    Settings > Update & Security > Advanced options > Defer uogrades
