Davidhk: I followed your instructions above and installed the iso. Please excuse my ignorance but I can't remember where to look to see if the upgrade took, where it will tell me what version I'm using. Can you or someone please refresh my memory? Thanks
OK. See, it's not that complicated.
If your winver says you have version 10586, then you are all set.
If you have the older version, then go to the folder where your 10586 iso file is saved to > right click at it > click Mount > click Setup.exe.
    That will begin the install.
You have the choice of keeping your settings, files and apps, or kepp nothing.
    Product key is not required.
    Activation is automatic.

Is that a typo ? It's supposed to be version 10586, not 10528.
    You are welcome.

No. It can't not be 10526.
Please use winver again and look at the Windows 10 version.
If you can, post a screenshot.

Mine is most up-to-date.......................yours might be slightly different.

Hmmm... another typo. ? Based on you winver output, I'd say it can't not be 10586.29!
Are you talking to me or are you trying to talk to the OP ?

    What do you mean " I'd say it can't not be 10586.29 " ?

Yes, I did a typo. I meant to say " It cannot be 10526".
Where did I say " the equivalent of "it must be 10526 " ?
