This update completely knocked out my network, wireless and wired, soon as I uninstall the update and troubleshoot the settings it's fixed, as soon as I install it again, broken.
I'll just leave it till the next update.

I wouldn't worry too much about this update, when it's ready, it will update through WU.

I think I have an explanation of why this update succeeds for some and not for others. After thoroughly reading most comments from here and closely looking at characteristics such as Windows editions and architectures of various posters, and then carefully reading the update description and more importantly its purpose (quote from Microsoft's knowledge base article):
This update restores the user's setting preferences if the settings were not retained through the upgrade process.
I think this update fails for those who wiped Windows 10 RTM (10.0.10240) from their system after upgrade and succeeds for the others.

Eight out of nine of my computers had this error. The only computer that did not have the error was the last of my computers to have Windows 10 installed that could not previously be upgraded. It finally had WIndows 10 installed when MS released the ISO. That one was the only computer that did not have this error. The other eight computers all had this error and they had all been upgraded from Windows 7 with the exception of the tablet which had been upgraded from Windows 8.1. All of my computers run Windows 10 32-bit (either Pro or Home). All computers are build 10586.
All computers have now been fixed using the CAB installer.
