Hi and welcome to TenForums!
???? https://www.tenforums.com/windows-10-...tml#post491204 :)
That's interesting... I downloaded it and didn't get any error. It's running on HP Beats 15 Special Edition Laptop.
Windows Update keeps giving me this error:
• Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 for x64-based Systems (KB3116908) - Error 0x800706d9
I've searched and tried every possible solution. The weird thing is, I should already have this installed. Winver reports v1511, build 10586.14.
....... successfully updated manually using the below command line in "Command Prompt (Admin)" :
dism /online /add-package /packagepath:C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download\c4a1b8896ce9fbfea96c1ee6890d52a5\windows10.0-kb3122947-x64.cab
Why don't you tell us what kind of bugs your having to receive that update? Forcing an update that does not show up in WU sounds hazardous to me.
Mine is showing "Updates are available" but is stuck at 0%.
Edit: I ran the dism command in cmd admin and it installed successfully.
