Guys. Please look at the following screenshot. I used this path that contains the cab files instead of the path that you have suggested. I have tried the SoftwareDistribution path but error came out. What's going on actually?

This shows operation completed successfully. Does WU still show an error when you launch it?

    If not, then your OK.

Not every user is affected so you may well not need it.
Personally I don't get it offered either. Although a previous update messed up some settings, I spotted it and corrected them all.

    Thank you.

But excuse the question, my English is not good, if I understood correctly, you either update appeared?

    Answer

Saw this on another forum, tried it and it worked!
"I managed to install the update manually using the below command (run it in elevated Command Prompt): dism /online /add-package /packagepath:C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download\c4a1b8896ce9fbfea96c1ee6890d52a5\windows10.0-kb3122947-x64.cab "

Windows Update Services never offered this update presumably because I spotted the mess before they had a fix for it.
Not on three installs anyway. I'll hook up another machine which hasn't been used for awhile tomorrow just to check this out .

Microsoft clearly states only a small amount of users were affected (I'm one of them) by a previous cumulative update resetting some of their custom privacy (mostly) settings, not everyone.

Feel free to PM me in Spanish if you feel that would help you better.

Anyhow, anyone getting error messages with this update could try to check their settings and put them back. A lot easier than looking at an update error message me thinks.....

    Best to all,

A lot of users posting the same reply.

The WU page only shows KB3122947 but there are recommended updates which you don't see such as individual files for chipset updates and WiFi drivers for some laptops. This is what I got from my Eset account on two machines.

I updated the chipset 10.1.1.13 without WU and updates disappeared from Eset but KB remained until I ran CMD DISM.
