or the command line will download the update and install it?

If you have already had failed updates, then you already have this update, just paste and run the command from Admin dos prompt.

found this on a random forum and it worked
you have to run CMD as an admin though: dism /online /add-package /packagepath:C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download\c4a1b8896ce9fbfea96c1ee6890d52a5\windows10.0-kb3122947-x64.cab
If you look in previous posts. This solution has been given on this forum by the user Sildur
But you should check the \c4a1b8896ce9fbfea96c1ee6890d52a5\ folder. It is different on every computer. You must search for the Windows10.0-kb3122947-x64.cab file and use the path accordingly.

You have to download the update first.
The command does not download the .cab file for you.
    thanks

Folder name changes upon x64 or x86, as someone wrote:

@clusterhead i have 2 systems one running windows 10 pro x86 and the other running windows 10 pro x64

in my x86 system the dism command is like that :
    dism /online /add-package /packagepath:C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download\b0a5da1b24245bc4237166e09bae92da\windows10.0-kb3122947-x86.cab

    not

    dism /online /add-package /packagepath:C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download\c4a1b8896ce9fbfea96c1ee6890 d52a5\windows10.0-kb3122947-x32.cab

unless when the updates fails to install it changes the directory from c4a1b8896ce9fbfea96c1ee6890 d52a5 to other values

Just checked four comps here. Two successfully updated with 22947 but the other two didn't see the update at all.

Weird or is there a rational explanation?

KB3122947 1511 update - anybody else get this?-sfc-scanfile.jpgThe original TH2 update was somewhat stable. SFC /Scannow would result in no integrity issues found. The change from .11 to .17 and any updates after that have resulted in several stability issues and begining a trend to not so stable at the moment. Updates are downloading ok but, unbalancing things around here. Not to happy with this. I wish I had solutions to offer but, it seems that most people here are experiencing there own unique problem. I have solved all my problems however, the sfc /scannow run yields integrity issues with the hash strings (does ms think joe new computer guy or advanced user can correct this) yet dism longest versions to restore health and the sfc /scannfile yeild no integrity issues found. Source files from tech bench website or the MCT cannot be found yet they are there. i.e. intsall.wim or install.esd. I got other things to do Redmond. Just sayin.

oups... it's the same name folder on x64 system... so I'm not really the author. I almost loved this sudden popularity hihi

Anyway, this error allowed me to find this forum then it's a good thing
