actually downloaded the first rar file un-rar'd it but what do i do to install the KB? lots of files not sure which one o use to run to do the update?

I'll add my thanks too. Very helpful to have those links. I will try to install again (using your links) if/when I hear it's important. I use Start 10 3rd party Start replacement and never use Cortana. I found while browsing this update improves something to do with the windows start menu, and also critical errors related to Cortana. Sorry for the lack of detail. Presently seems I don't need it?

tried to install this update with your included CAB file installer but it gets to 100% and then fails?
