And I applied the same settings (changed the network name) to my several other personal (metered) wifi. I'm happy now. ^^

Good to know you got it. When you have set a network to be metered, you can always easily change it from the Settings app.

In Settings > Network & Internet > Wifi, select your network and connect to it. Now select Advanced options:

You can now toggle metered connection ON or OFF as you wish:

This would be a solution too.

Let me see if I understand what the command you give here can do. My sys uses the Hughsnet isp which goes into a router
and then over ethernet wiring to the computer. Win 10 sees this as a wired connection and will not make this a metered connection.
Are you saying this command will make this a metered connection? Thanks.

Exactly, it forces Windows 10 to recognize this specific connection as a metered connection. That's the whole trick. Normally, ethernet connections are considered non metered connections.

No. Ethernet connections cannot be set metered. A metered connection can only be WiFi or mobile.

Wrong, see my response to member Undine above.

I did what Strollin does, I shut off the Windows Update service. Until a fixit was released that scans updates and you can choose to hide certain ones, or all of them. It downloads a cab file "wushowhide.diagcab". You have to tell WU to notify only, you have to do that via group policy editor. There is a post that shows how, maybe a tutorial now, check in the tuts section.

here is how I was doing it before the Fixit came out:
