    If the update is KB 5034441,then ignore it and wait for Microsoft to issue an amended working replacement.
    The installation problem is worldwide.

    You do not need this update if the PC does not have a recovery partition. In this case, the error can be safely ignored.

    Also, I had a very similar error with a different update (same error code), at this site:
    https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/...a-ac34c3e5dccb

    Read Tekkie Boy's reply, which has a link to a file that actually fixed that specific Windows Update for me.

    So, in conclusion, you're going to have to wait until Microsoft notices their bad design in releasing updates, and wait 'til they release another update, to hopefully fix the error.

    @pepanee
    What you suggest (KB5015684) is the Enablement Package to the 19045!

    Thanks spunk for your reply. I'm sure I don't have a recovery partition so on that note I might give Tekkie Boy's reply ago.

    Thanks for your information. I shall give it a try can't hurt since my Windows still hasn't been done aka clean install yet. Been too sick over the holidays so I like to try at lease.

    At this point I'm not worried about it since I did some follow research that shall be corrected on the next update. Thanks for your comforting words mate.

    I went to disk management and I'm attaching a picture that shows I do have a recovery-environment. How big should be in size?Error while updating latest security update.-disk-management.png
