    Upgrades needed to be compatible for Win 11

    Hello folks, been a while since I've been on here. I'm just curious about what upgrades I would have to make to this pc for Win. 11. If, my system specs still show up with this post, could someone maybe be able to tell what upgrades would need to be made? Thanks!

    As you know, only PCs meeting certain hardware requirements can be upgraded routinely to Win 11.
    Most PCs can actually run it- and people have installed Win 11 on 'incompatible' PCs- see below.

    There are two tools to check compatibility that can identify issues- given below.

    - try running the app listed there.

    Not sure if your PC is compatible with Windows 11? Here's how to check - CNET
    - gives another tool and a list of requirements.

    The two tools are conveniently listed here:
    I thought my computer has unsupported CPU for Windows 11 installation? - post #6

    Note: which generation of CPU you have is key to whether you will be able to upgrade routinely or not.

    Even if you can't fully meet Win 11 hardware specs (imposed by the installer rather than the O/S itself in some respects) there are work arounds to effect Win 11 installation.

    Get WhyNotWin11.exe from here, and run it... post a screen shot of the result...

    All GREEN boxes is what you want, but you won't get that. It will show you what you're missing though.

    Your CPU is not supported and from looking at your manual, it doesn't look like you have TPM 2.0 or any TPM.
    But, as @dalchina said... people have been installing Windows 11 on any and everything.

    @p5200

    Or... you could just do something like this...

    Part List - Intel Core i5-13400 - PCPartPicker

    This will bring you pretty much up-to-date and be compatible with Windows 11.
