    Windows update change ?

I did not get any notification when checking Windows Update. I may be too early getting them for July. Usually after 11am. All I could find was info about KB5058155 which contain

    cab_1_for_ KB5028166_psfx.cab
    cab_2_for_KB5028166_psfx.cab

Could not install cab_1, did not try cab_2

I just will wait for a later time to see if download is back to normal.

If you were on 22H2 rather than 21H2 I would say that usually patience is rewarded. Just let Windows 'do its thing'. There really is little point in habitually manually checking for updates.

Note: as you have Pro, why not set updates to 'Notify' in group policy?

That way when they are available, you are.. yes.. notified. Nothing then happens until you approve the update - so it happens when you want it to.

However - for whatever reason you are on some version of build 21H2 (the forum prompted you clearly for your full build number- mine is 19045.3208 (22H2) ).

Please post a screenshot of your Update History.

It looks as if your PC (whatever it is- little detail) may be older - and that might be a possible explanation - or not. How old is it?

    Version 21H2
    Build 19044.3086

The only reason this machine is still on Win 10 is because of a Brother Lazor Printer.
There is no Win 11 driver update and did not want to install win 11 and find out the driver
would not work then have to restore my image file. Otherewise it can be updated to win 11.
If there is an ISO for 22H2 around I can update. Think I got confused between 11 and 10 since I have
    11 on my other machines.

    Again:

** - your Win 10 is out of date- being 21H2 not 22H2.

I got a 22H2 ISO from Microsoft so will install it.
If it fails, I can always install Win 11 and if needed get a new printer. This machine
is only used to print income tax returns. and will run Win 11.

    Got 22H2 installed
    build 19045.2965

    And got updates OK

    Thanks for your help
