Just acquired a used Acer W10 Enterprise laptop and I'm resetting it. To begin with, I only want to install driver updates, so I'd like to be able to see all the offered updates but only download and install the ones I want. How to do this?

How could you do that?
You would need to use a 3rd party tool with checkbox selection of updates. E.g. WUMT (Windows Update Minitool). Free.
Enterprise has the group policy editor, so use that to set WU to 'Notify' (see relevant tenforums tutorial if unsure how- in the huge searchable Tutorials section) - or get a copy of Policy Plus (free) which has a useful find option.
With that set, no updates are downloaded or applied by WU unless you approve the offered updates.
Go to Acer support and download the drivers they offer.
To avoid WU trying to identify/download/install any drivers or other updates in the meantime, you could set your network connections to metered. I appreciate that you might prefer to use the policy settings that dalchina described instead.

This is my Registry key after applying these changes. All network connections are metered including the Default i.e. all future WiFi networks that I might connect to.
