Win 10 update error 80070003 Solved

Tried every way to update from Win 8.1 to Win 10 Home and every time the dreaded 80070003 error no matter what I tried. Total frustration and almost given up after 2 weeks of trying.

Then I stumbled across the thread below, did exactly what it said and Bingo! Update worked perfectly.
The problem stemmed from partitioning my hard drive with EaseUS Partition Manager.
See link below for details and solutions if you have EaseUS installed or have used it on your computer.

    Hope it works for you.

I wish my problem was that simple to solve! For the seventh time, I'm getting error 80070003 when attempting to install the June or July 2019 Windows Update. DISM finds problems, fixes all of them, but no luck with getting the monthly updates to install. Will keep searching the forum for something else to try.

Have you tried doing an in-place upgrade/repair install? That might solve it for you. Download the ISO of the version you wish to upgrade to, right-click to mount the ISO and run setup.exe. See the video here:

FWIW, I agree that @simrick's suggestion is worth trying out. It's helped me out of many Win10 jams.
Here's a recent blog post on that very topic: Upgrade Win10 Repair Install Saves Mangled T520 PC - Windows Enterprise Desktop.
